  When I went to close an unused account that I had with them I found that there was one bill I had forgot to switch over. BMO was charging $50 per debit (x3) as there was no money in the account, and insisted on collecting $150 in fees before closing the account. I guess 25 years with the bank meant nothing to them, oh well, they're losing way more than that in future lost business from me so jokes on them.

  i have chicken pox and i'm not able to go at branch and i have to do some important transactions. but they are not picking up my phone from last 4 days. i wish i could gave them 0 star.

  hint for bmo management to tart investing into there workers to verify they know how to deal with the public and do there job to there clients who been with the bank for more then 10 years

  Horrible customer service at this bank. Tried to get a small limit credit card for online shopping. They told me I needed to give them the equivalent of the credit limit up front before being approved. If I had that money, why would I need a credit card? Meanwhile already had credit card with another institution for 5 times the limit BMO was willing to give me.

  horrible staff here i went to go pay a bill through my account that they have on file already the teller refused to pay the bill due to my address was my old address which was another reason i was there was to change my address which the teller refused to do so as well told me i had to go to my main bmo branch to do so. when i mentioned i never had to go to my main branch before to change my address so why do i have to now. also explained that my main bmo branch is not in brampton that it is in a total different city. felt do to the fact i am a born canadian and not of indian back ground the lady was very disrespectful with how she had done things i had to go to another branch in brampton and they did all the changes with out any issue's.
