  This was my first time. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the location in Mississauga but was very disappointed with our experience at Brampton city Center. The hairdresser was not very friendly and didn’t really acknowledge or talk to my daughter. My daughters hair cut was terrible. Her bangs were three different lengths.ive done a better job myself. I will not be returning to this location of melon heads. I did like the set up (the chairs, toys) it provided a lot of distraction and my daughter was very calm. The little certificate was cute to certify her first hair cut. I feel like this location needs a clean up as well, it was dirty.

  Dirty & unaccommodating. Flat surfaces are fuzzy with dust, including the pay counter. Receptionist has plenty of time to wipe it but can't be bothered. Receptionist did not greet or acknowledge the children when we went in. Had to book a week in advance to get appointments for both my kids. Arrived 15 mins late because of a traffic accident and they had started with the next child. I was told that if I wait they would see if they could do both of my kids. Waited 15 more minutes until they were done with the other child, I thought for sure they would be able to accommodate since they finished the other child's hair before his actual appointment even started. Nope! They came back and said they would only do one of my children's hair. Now how does that make my children feel and where does that leave me? Was left with a pretty solid impression that the employees are not the least bit interested in building customer loyalty.

  I was nervous to take my 10-month old for her first haircut after reading all of these reviews but I had a great experience. Angela cut my daughters hair and she did a great job. My daughter loved it and was so happy to be there. We even got a picture and my daughters first snipped hair to take home as a memory.

  This is the second time I've tried to take my kids to Melonhead's. The first time I asked if the was an appointment time available and the receptionist outright laughed in my face. It seems like the only customer satisfaction I'll be getting here is by spreading the story of my experience through my social network of Mommy groups. I will never go back, and if anyone asks, I will tell them outright to avoid this store.

  Gave my son Krishan one of the best and most memorable haircuts ever. He enjoyed the lollipop as well.

  Everybody's had poor experiences at some point or another, with this product or that. But this is a special kind of disappointment. My kids were so excited about the sitting in the car-chair while getting their hair cut. And because of a complete apathy on the part of the receptionist and the stylists, they had to leave disappointed. That just makes me mad.

  Went with my 2 year old son one evening, and there was no one getting their hair cut. I asked if my son can get his done she took one look at him and said "no sorry, we're closing early today" then turned away and started talking to her friend. I then asked "I thought you close at 9 pm it is only 7:30" she stated "well you didn't book an appointment so we can't cut his hair" then turned back to the girl she was talking to. So I respond with fine lets book an appointment (knowing full well that I would never be coming back to this place). Her response was a sigh then ok looks in the book and said they are booked up until sometime next week. Will never go back to this place
